Prices, prices, prices

I know I shouldn't complain, but I'm going to.

As part of my research, and my general interest, I buy pictures of tattooed performers, and eBay is a great place to look/buy. But frequently, I'm stunned by the prices people are willing/able to pay that far exceed what I can afford.

Today's example is this one:

c1870s CIRCUS *TATTOOED Pretty Lady cdv* by EISENMANN ,Sideshow TATTOO Freak NYC

$510.

Seriously. Part of the increased price here is because it's a) an Eisenmann photo (which people adore, and b) it's a very clear picture of Annie Howard.

But $510??? This is where it seems ridicuous to me. On the other hand, good for the seller for getting themselves paid well.
